justpassntime, funny you say that because as soon as I found out she survived and crawled out, I took a good look at the bottom of the car and marveled at how smooth the belly of the Camry is. Sure, it wasn't made by an aircraft designed, but it's a lot 'cleaner' than I thought it would be.

I'm thinking it was Lexus, with their 1990-ish LS400, that first claimed an aerodynamic undertray. Looks like some of that has filtered down to their 'lesser' models.

(Oh, up until 2 weeks ago, I worked in that building in Menands.)

With the top smashed flat (level with the hood & trunk) I bet it is more aerodynamic than stock.
