a meet in the spring

so i would like to here ideas for small groups or meetings for sometime in the spring. i would love to get together with other ecomodders and discuss ideas and such. we could meet in kansas city, st. louis, jefferson city, springfield, branson. it depends on where everyone is located. just tossing it out for some feelers, no big plans any time soon

Turtle spring meeting

I am up for that. I also need to spreadsheet my gas consumption so I can post my mileage on here. getting 38+ on every tank. That's speedometer and it's about 3-4% off it reads slower that my actual ground speed. but I am not correcting it. My best so far with the worn out suzuki GT is 45.

Its already starting to get cold and wet and nasty out but when the weather is good, probably in the spring I'd be up for something not too far away from the KC area. Meet, hang out, get some food or something.

North Kansas City MO. Red Suzuki Swift. I'd show up to a party, my vote is for KC. Its central for MO and KS, and easiest for me. lol

i have family in Raymore in south kc so i would be game for a meet there too so 4 votes for a kc meet. i figure somewhere just off of one of the major highways (435, 71, etc) so as to get good mileage and not cost us city driving lol. some parking lot or restaurant maybe.

good idea. I didn't know about it.

Oh and KC works for me; I visit once a month or so - family South, North, East parts of KC.

Is there any interest in getting something organized this summer? There seems to be quite a few MO-KAN folks on the board to meet-up...

I'm in if I am home. Got to work on my bucket list you know. My rusty old Suzuki Swift GT is getting 37 mpg around town and over 40 on the road now the winter gas is gone. I'm working on W85 filtering and mixing for my dad's ford F350 diesel truck right now. We're going to try to get to Bonneville for speed week in August if we can create enough fuel. Hard to find enough good used motor oil. But at approximately $1.13 per gal we can afford it.
