Stay away from a Stratus!! I'm glad your looking to get rid of it, ask any mechanic and they will tell you that the Stratus is one of the worst cars to work on. The way they were designed is horrible for any type of repair work! And trying to sell one is a pain also because nobody wants these things.

Hey Ray, why don't you just fly to Texas?

X2. An Avalon is basically just a Camry w/ luxury trim, so it should be whisper quiet, and if you nab a four cylinder w/ an appropriately geared manual transmission you could probably see some great mileage (40+mpg) too. Otherwise anything w/ decent OD should net ~30mpg+ on the highway.

The Avalon is built on an extended Camry platform, but that's where the similarities end. Avalon is bigger in all dimensions. The only engine/trans choice is V6/auto. 95-04 are 4 spds. 05-07 are 5 spds. 08 and newer are 6 spds.
