I am expanding my stock of 1/2 belt pulleys now that I have access to a lathe. I have some 5.187 and 6.25 inch riding lawn mower pulleys that have the splines tore out of them. I'm going to bore these out so they fit on tractor supply shaft hubs so I can put them on any shaft.

For my stump grinder I'm ordering extra 1 inch pillow blocks and stuff that can be used on the leaf pusher.
I'm going to make a vehicle tow bar and I'll order some extras that can be used on the leaf pusher.
What I really need is a 1 way bearing so I can speed up faster that the leaf pusher can revv and not over speed the engine.

Junked Prius Primes have a durable one way bearing internal to the transaxle for just that purpose (I’ve wanted one to fit up to my Honda)
Otherwise you are stuck with bicycle idlers and chain

There's lots of industrial one way bearings too.

I wasn't sure how I was going to make a changeable rear final drive work with a gokart cvt and work with a 1 way bearing.
Well I think I figured it out. Use a go kart cvt chain drive. That's the easy answer.
To make a changeable final drive the gokart tuners have axle drive hubs that take split sprocket gears with different numbered tooth counts, looks like 53 up to 78 teeth. So I can get 4.4:1 to 6.5:1 final drive ratio.
But the off the shelf sprocket to axle flange will never fit a one way bearing. I'll have to buy a sprocket flange to axle hub and copy it so that it can be bored out to hold a 1 way bearing and drilled on the edge to accept split sprockets.
I don't have to have the 1 way bearing final drive for initial testing, if I want to make a road trip version then yeah.

The rest of the Internet seems to hate the idea of a gasoline powered leaf pusher so I know I'm on the right track. You would really be surprised of how intolerant electric vehicle people are.
My nissan leaf dot com the internet black hole of EV group think and intolerance. They are not happy at all more people have adopted EVs who don't think and act exactly like they do.

I almost convinced myself to make a diesel pusher for my Leaf out of the 1985 non-turbo VW Golf diesel I had. The idea was to cut the front off from the cabin and make it a trailer.
