Any JDM engine I have dealt with does not have an EGR. I would think with how old the car is, this would be the case here too. Definatley keep me posted on the results. My OBD2a to OBD1 jumper harness does everything except for the EGR. This ecu might be a good work around!

havent updated in a while. not really much going on with the car just driving the piss out of it. 12k miles since the swap no big problems. been averaging between 48-51 last 6 or 7 tanks. still no aero or eoc. my highway speed is actually increasing as i learn to hold lean burn on hills and when to engage it going down and up hills. still having lots of fun with it. im buying a 91 crx si. needs engine work so im looking to do a 70mpg crx with a d15z1 swap.

As the weather warms up ive stopped using the block heater. Still a little chilly in the mornings but overall decent. Highest tank so far was 52.8. Crossed over 300k miles and have driven the car 16k since the swap. As soon as I fix come stuff on my vx hatch I'm gona park the sedan to do the body work on it. I was messing with the quarter panel the other day and the previous owners bondo job fell off. There's a gaping hole there now haha.

Can't wait to he that started and do some aero at the same time!! I wana see this thing at 60mpg tanks but look stock

It's been just about a year since I got it back on the road and she's still running strong and still my main daily driver. Only things I've added are a partial cardboard/duct tape grill block and a doggy heater pad to defrost my windshield as the block eater warms up. I'll try and get some pics up. I've been so busy at work and with the rambler project it's been nuts.

Nice project.

Home depot got a lot thin metal sheets you can cut and have as a rear diffuser. I made one for my altima and my mileage skyrocketed.

As a last resort you can try modifying the rear diffusers off the new civics.

Yea this thing really needs some more aero. I found a flat abs plastic sheet on eBay I was going to use for a rear belly pan and convert it into a diffuser. Have any pics of yours?

Wow!! The mileage your mileage made a decent jump. I need to get on this. Maybe I'll make a cardboard template up this week. I'll be doing an oil change and fixing the oil cooler oring anyways.
