What the... is a Japanese Pumpkin?

I actually prefer cold food, and prefer that most of my veggies remain uncooked.

Sometimes, I don't even cook pasta... I let it sit in water over night, sometimes in a closed pot in the sun through the day. Saves gas/electricity/whatever.

The nice thing about most cold foods is that they require almost no clean up. It's a side effect, but most people don't eat greasy foods cold, and I'm (normally) no exception. I've said before that I find eating to be a huge waste of time, and frankly, I'll do anything I can to shorten the time I spend doing it. Cooking seems to take forever... and though I enjoy cooking on rare occasion, I find more and more that i rather enjoy cold foods, such as pasta salad with oil.

It is quite tasty. I have come to discover a sort of tuber that grows here in Japan that is also quite interesting. I wouldnt know how to describe the taste but if you mash it up with some rice it makes a sustaining sort of mush.

Your freedom (to not eat meat) has a price.
