That's what it should mean, yeah.

I'm not sure if this is on the forum yet, but I found it in my quest to buy new tires:

The date is 2009, so it's alot more current than what I was finding!

Wow. I bought my car 2years ago and it had new tires already installed. I checked them on that spreadsheet..

Fuzion HRI RRF=11.09 - one of the worst. I hope they wear out soon.....

I've been running a set of Nokian eNtyres on my Vibe for about four months now. I like them. In the fall, they seemed to have poor traction on wet roads. Now in the snow, they perform great. With these tires and ABS, I can't hardly get into trouble. (Thankfully, I have the emergency brake that lets me have fun around the corners. )
It will be interesting once the snow and ice melts to see if they perform any better on wet pavement now that they have some miles on them.

I've been hoping someone would report on the eNtyres. How is your mileage with them. Have you noticed an improvement?

My Mom bought a set of eNtyres for her 2007 Prius. So far so good -- I have only driven it briefly, and she drives it only a little. The Hakka R's are going back on, very soon. :-)

It's hard to say if my mileage is any better. I've been unemployed and my driving has been erratic; no daily commuting. And my butt-o-meter is not sensitive enough to say if I'm coasting further. When I first had the eNtyres installed, I had a short term contract job, and my daily commute at the time showed no decrease in MPG, and that was at 32 psi from when they were installed.

Sorry about this old thread.
I drive on used tires on my manual 2008 Hyundai Accent, which standard wheels/tires were 175/65/14 inch tires. The low-geared transmission gave 2900rpms at 60MPH....way too many.

Without going to different gearing, I tried 195/65/15 inch wheels/tires which lowered rpms by 6%! Alright!! Then I tried 205/65/15 inch tires with deep tread despite being used. Just barely cleared the mudflaps & lowered gearing another 3%.
Sure beats the price of a re-geared transmission, makes the suspension feel more "grown-up", AND MPG went up too.
