I liked this cartoon from The Museum of Unworkable Devices :

"It may be perpetual motion, but it will take forever to test it."

He already stated he wouldn't accept the money from investors because he hadn't completed the two bigger engines. He was offering to include us in the process till DCB started gnawing on his "ankles." Obviously he should have included us in the process if he wanted funding. He was taking bets I suppose. If he had a provisional patent that means he has to complete the two prototypes before he gets a patent right?

Not the best of investment without pics.

Thanks for being reasonable. I'm over D..whatsizname. I can let him babble unanswered with equanimity. He and his kid friends are hardly to be taken seriously, in any event.

You don't really need to have a prototype, much less two, unless the USPTO requires it, according to what I read in the application. However, it's moot because we don't intend to go to the expense of a full patent and will probably release the device under "open source" licensing as being in the best interests of the end users.

The investors to whom I referred are not buying the patent rights. They are investing to be part of the manufacturing and distribution system, which makes us all part of the same happy family, except that the investors stand to make more than I do. I don't care. I'm 65. How much longer am I likely to live anyhow, and how many cars, boats, homes in the Intercoastal Waterway do I need to be happy? (none of the latter .. I don't like Florida, but WTF)...

Anyway, if somebody wants to throw a buck or 20 at us, we'll accept with thanks, and use it to buy stuff to improve designs and build prototypes, just like I said. If not, well, you'll be right up there with the 300million or so who don't even know it exists. And, unfortunately for you, you'll be making the exact same impact as they will on the project. And, like them, when we do monetize the business, you will get the same thing they do .. the right to buy an engine from someone else at full price.

If you want something else from me, you're free to ask, but don't expect me to agree if you're requesting things I've already refused, because those answers don't change until we do the open source. Then you'll be able, just like everyone else, to purchase a license. Just be very sure it won't be cheap.

CLUE for D..whatzisname and numbskull cronies .. write nasty stuff all you wish. Taunt me, get all pissy about my saying that God loves you, whatever. Just don't expect any response from me. I have no time for you as long as you're being a horse's patootie.

God does love you, and wants you to succeed. I hope you succeed, too. Magnetic engines are things this world drastically needs!
God Bless you!

I think this is one of those new fangled kinds of sneakster spam. You ask the purpose and you get a link to the homepage along with a lot of excuses and self praise and other thought suppressing rhetoric.

Mods please consider deleting this thread.
