Not $20 worth, but if there is a carbon fiber strip down the rocker panel it might help the looks.

if you get some put little NO STEP labels on them.

door handles

The only thing that comes to mind is, plasticized magnetic commercial sign material you'll see small business owners 'stick' to their doors.
No telling what it would do at 80-mph.

They'd be within the turbulence of the rear wheels and underbody.
Without attached flow, they cannot provide any pressure recovery, hence, no drag reduction.
That region would be part of a boat-tail integration to the rear fascia.
Clean air would come off the rear skirts and transition onto the gently-tapering sides of the tail, or cavity, providing the flow deceleration that WILL be the pressure recovery.
Until you've belly-panned the rear, and know what you've got to work with on the diffuser design, I'd stay away from any products.
You still have an 'unknown quantity' back there.

How bad would these low profile rain guards affect mpg? They barely add any frontal area but obviously aren’t smooth and flush. I’ve thought about getting them to keep myself from getting rained on when ordering at drive thrus and obviously you can crack the windows in warmer weather to let in fresh air versus turning on the ac. Plus biggest selling for me would be being able to crack the windows an inch or two when parked in the sun on hot summer days so the cabin doesn’t heat up as much

But I’ve been worried about the mpg hit. Would it even be noticeable or just a decimal point?

They appear to be A-B testable.

To my knowledge, they've never been measured for drag alteration.
The development of flush automotive glass would provide insight into an association with drag degradation.
