I didn't know it had legs

Put the panel where it isn't?

Automatic jacks would lower but you don't want that at speed. If the car lowers the suspension goes up. Maybe I need a picture.

The window garnish can't hurt, could be better if it was continuous to the door lip.

From old-school fluid dynamics, you'd expect flow separation, the 'thickness' of the void created, and perhaps, reattachment, 6- thicknesses downstream of the local horizontal point of separation.
An attached bubble of separated flow would travel along with vehicle.
You can see this in my 1st video for Spirit of EcoModder.
This turbulence has implications for downstream flow attachment, as you've now mutilated the onset flow, in subsonic flow, which influences pressure over the entire vehicle.
I'm not comfortable 'guessing', with respect to any delta-CdA.

I'm no IONIQ authority. If the car has 'active suspension', it hasn't been reported.

Is that two pictures of one thing or two things? Different models for the 2-door and 4-door?

In any case the exemplar is Aerocivic -- two parallel walls. The constraint is the breakover angle.

A possible solution would be solid spats at the front and rear with a tension cable at the bottom of a [semi-]flexible skit.

I think it’s the same skirt just on different cars. It slightly lowers it but it looks like the angle sticking out keeps some side air from going under near the body, and the rear little thing at the end of the skirt looks like it would direct air up only the rear wheel skirt when I make it

The black winglet appears to be a vestigial air curtain. Maybe that's enough?

what's interesting is the toyota prius prime and the new corolla hybrid have some type of side skirt built in, while the ioniq hybrid blue is just straight down and flat

also random oddity, my gfs corolla hybrid returned 64mpg average on a highway trip we did going 70 plus mph. i do the same route all the time, and my ioniq only returns in the low to mid 50s in that stretch

this has happened a lot on highway trips. her corolla hybrid seems to get better mpg than my ioniq, even though the epa says my ioniq gets higher mpg, and has a lower cd. so i have no idea what's going on...

found this old pic when browsing old camping photos. no idea if this helps give an idea about air flow for the car. interesting at the rear...

'skirts'

I'd direct your attention towards Volkswagen's 'solution' to wheel drag.
In the 'archives' there's an underbody image you should see.
