I’ll do that this week. What speed is best for testing tufts? Don’t feel like going out onto interstate

Did you catch the alliteration?
25-250mph.
200ft circle in an empty parking lot?
The blistered front half is buried in turbulence anyway.
The back half could be extended into a tearing edge. See: Mercury Turnpike Cruiser

You need at least 20-mph.

Bear in mind that, the end of the wheels skirt is the 'beginning' of your box cavity geometry.
Don't do anything to complicate or compromise the future 'onset' flow there.

I’ll do some tuft tests today on a back road area. Thankfully the back wheels of my car are at the very very back. Not much body left after the rear well like some other cars

The bottom of the skirt will need to interface with the outer wall or fence of any difusser.
I propose that the solution will appear in the form of a skeg.

quick tuft testing video. make sure to click the gear icon and crank the quality up to 5k resolution at 60 frames per second if your computer and internet can handle it!

Thanks.
The tuft next to the bottom on the back of the skirt is unaffected until 16 seconds. The bottom one follows the edge of the skirt. Maybe a teardrop skirt that tapers in plan?
Next round might be shorter, more closely spaced in the back half of the test area.
