What is the width of a Suzuki Samurai windshield. I believe they are bolt on and could be modified.

mmm

hmm that suzuki samurai might be it;
the wiki for it has a range of width for the car though between like 55 and 60; if its 55 it may fit.
anyone got one can measure the width at the widest point?

I checked with my brother, he has one: 47 1/4" to the outside of the gasket.

The difference in width may be from when they added fender flairs and widened the axles so they wouldn't roll over as easily. His has been over once.

what model year is your brothers car?
some of the model years look like the window is a lot less tall.
I need stats on the model years with the tallest looking one.

I got him to put down the phone and walk outside with a tape measure (without knowing why!) so I don't want to bother him again today.

But it is the first one, before they widened the track. He has the permanent top; probably what saved his butt when it rolled over.

I haven't compared the two vehicles but I remember the windshield as being pretty tall.

How about making the stock windshield have an adjustable rake like an old Austin-Healey?

Exactly, that is what I've done on my MGeo, my build thread shows how I did it. But remember these modifications have a LOT of ramifications,
windsheild wipers, convertible top, side windows, mirrors, etc.
Can't just rack it back without changing everything else too.

You could make it easier — MG TC/TD/TA

It's got a rubber flap to seal to the cowl, wipers are a gimmee, and it looks about half the height; when it's not folded down. If not it would be easy to chop.

I vote for a bikini top.

I know someone else with a Samurai*. The windshield is 18 3/4" tall to the outside of the gasket. But the bottom edge is straight; where I think your Midget is curved.

*His is the later wide-body.
