That's often the first thing I check for when looking at semi trucks... Unfortunately, the pics are bad enough (no offense to anyone) that I can't find any of the tell-tale indications, such as shadow or ridges in the "blob" of tire, that would indicate a dual setup.
I'm going to assume they're super wide, but only because it seems logical.

Yeah, the pic was a bit blurry and all the rain/fog on my window didn't help much. I'll see what I can do with the originals (they're 2048x1536, so a little big for posting directly and my ftp is giving me issues)

Here's some slightly less shrunken shots, brightness/contrast adjusted. Looks like single tires instead of the doubles to me.

There are proven economy increases and traction benefits for large trucks running those tires. They're also slightly more environmentally friendly, since there's only one tire being made, and it uses less rubber.
There's also more surface area on the traction print to spread a load, so they aren't stressed as much.

Yeah, they're single fatties. Thanks for the new pics!

The super singles have less rolling resistance than doubles since there's less rubber to flex overall. Despite the relatively bad aerodynamics of semis, even at highway speeds, depending on the load, rolling resistance is still very significant due to the number of tires and the overall load.
