Muffin... stalks... Somehow I have not ever discussed those!
Sonny, muffin tops are the greatest thing in the world - except for a nice MLT - mutton, lettuce, and tomato sandwich, where the mutton is nice and lean and the tomatoes are ripe. They're so perky, I love that.

I found it disconcerting when I worked at a bakery and the owner said that as far as he knew, mold did not harm humans, but we freaked out about it anyway.
On "Adam Ruins Expiration Dates," he said that you can drink curdled milk without harm.
I will pass on that gallon challenge.
Curiously, he reminds me of an old roommate--who threw out my food when it reached the Best By date.
He did not recycle, either.

Generally speaking, organisms that thrive in refrigerated temperatures in substances like vegetables, milk, etc don't survive well in the human body. They aren't adapted to that environment. The risk of illness is low.
I'll eat most things if it still tastes ok; the "expiration" date is merely a "best by" date. I'd have no problem if someone threw out items that exceeded the "best by" date, as long as they paid for the replacement. Now if it's festering and smelling up the place, that's a whole other problem.

Wahoo! My body is a hostile environment!
I have handled food properly and still had it go bad before the stamped date, which usually says "Best by."
I needed to get the landlord involved because that roommate kept putting away my Foreman grill which I used (and cleaned) twice a day.
Meanwhile, he kept a food dehydrator on the counter, which he almost never used.

Who knows how the food was handled before you got it? Relatively short instances of allowing food to warm up, especially early on, can result in it going bad before the best by date.
I highly recommend being the lord of your land, but you already know that. I've got great roommates because I discriminate against knuckleheads.

I had some experiences with weed during my teenage years, but lately became more favorable to a tougher stance when it comes to drug-related crimes. I'm absolutely favorable to death penalty for drug dealers, and some drug users such as crackheads who commit crimes either while under influence or in order to finance their addiction. However, I'm not unfavorable to industrial usage of hemp, which includes some eventual replacement of soy-based products with hemp-based ones.

What about drug users who do vile and terrible things, like run for President, to satisfy their addiction, or whatever?
My sister is a huge advocate of medicinal [word I am not sure I can use at work]. From what I understand, the version used for recreation has been bred for potency, while the useful part has been reduced, while the medicinal version supposedly does not induce euphoria.
Then the rumors that the hemp industry (and associated products) were put out of business by the cotton industry.
Then, supposedly, Prohibition and drug laws have been based on racism.
It seems like people find racist ties everywhere.

I was straight-edge in my teenage years, but I believe that while the authorities may regulate commerce (M-13), they've no business regulating people's self-medication.

Sentence does not scan. Cannabis is like Schmoon, all things to all people.

Here's an article that debunks the industrial argument and supports the racism argument:

I felt that Johnson did especially well with prepared speeches and his ad with Bill Weld was well done.
In a Washington Post article, Rep. Thomas Massie said that people were not voting for libertarians, they were voting for the craziest candidate. Johnson explained:
Quote:
“Trump was the one who was going to blow things up,” he said. “Make everybody think you’re crazy, and then at the end, show you’re not so crazy. Well, he did everything but the last part.”

It should be possible to rehabilitate most people in prison for using drugs. If they did bad things to get the money for drugs, they still deserve rehabilitation, even though they need to pay for their crime.
I was not trying to get political, I just could not think of a better example of strange things done under the influence. Of course, there were dozens of allegedly sober candidates.
What was their excuse?

Depends on how hungry you are. After a certain point, dumpster diving becomes quite attractive.

While I'm in favor of the death penalty for all the "drug warriors" out there, perhaps salvaging any useful parts for transplants. As for the drug users who commit real crimes, they should be treated exactly the same as someone who did the same crime but never touched drugs.
