Winter is coming, and I'm thinking about stepping up my game with a block heater, and grid-charging of one or both batteries. Plugging in and colder weather seem to go hand-in-hand.
It's the rating of the fuse. I have never tested the actual draw. This year has been a "bigger dropoff" from last year. It's more noticeable, so I am miffed.

Even so, cooling fans can draw a lot of power. I wouldn't be surprised if it draws 20-25A. If you have a ScanGauge you can monitor coolant temp so you'll know if you have too much grill block installed.
