Mpguino problems after 1 year in vx

Hi , my kit assembled fully calibrated Mpguino has a problem after 12,000 miles in my civic vx. Gph seems to work normally but the problem is with the speed. From a dead stop the speed now increases normally until it reaches about 3 mph then it goes to 0 mph and does not increase with the speed of the car. Anyone have an idea ? I ordered a preassembled MpGuino from Dcp but I hope I can fix this one so I have a spare because I would miss it for sure . It makes the car so much more fun to drive. Thanks

so the mileage tracking is off too I assume?

go through the settings if you could and let me know what you have for
VSS Delay ms
and
VSS Pulses/Mile

and of course unplug it and replug it

Note: I don't know the details on the futurelogic kit, or if it has those settings or not

Yes I unpluged and repluged it. vss Pulses/mile reads 8200 and vss Delayms reads 128 .Distance on screen stays on 0 miles. The unit was working normally then when I stopped I noticed the screen did not make sense ( blocks and ? marks ) then when I reset the speed /distance had a problem. I had been using v74 so I changed it to v75 and still same problem. Thanks

The default for delayMS is 2. Try resetting that value in the setup screen to 2.

Also double check your calibrations when you get a chance in case other values got wonked. Injector DelayuS should be 500.

You were right !! Problem fixed . Now I will have a spare when the new one arrives . Many thanks. I think eveyone should order one of these because now that the kit doesn't seem to be available for most people yours is the only solution for pre 1996 vehicles.
On the pre assembled unit is it a big deal to unsolder the switches and mount them remotely . I thought about this after I completed the Fundamental Logic kit but this would require a lot of unsoldering. Many thanks

glad its working. Unsoldering things is a bit of an art, hard to say if that will work out for you.
