So if the MPGuino is only showing about 1/5th of the distance, I should convert my 8204 number to 1640?

No, well yes, but no!! Something is wrong if it is 1/5.

Can you put a voltmeter on the mpguino to car vss connection and turn on the ignition then roll the car slightly till it reads 12 volts? Then measure the voltage on analog 0?

Yoink! I'll solder everything up tidy and do that. Post back in a bit.

Ok, I wasn't asking to resolder everything, just to measure the voltages with it in the car. Of course you may have reasons to believe that resoldering is necessary that I am unaware of. Make sure your Zeners in in the right way too.

Well, I was soldering them cuz I just had them twisted together by hand and exposed, and now that I know I have the connections proper, I thought I should solder them and be done with it.

Anyway, I got voltage 10.8 at the vss and 3.7 on the analog pin

Ok, 3.7 is pretty solid. Can you do continuity from a duino ground pin to vehicle ground?

Ground is fine, but the vss setting on the mpguino was way off. I know I reset it to 8204 for perhaps that setting was lost. I reset it again, keyed off, and it stayed at 8204...I'm going out soon so I guess we'll see.

You are getting mpguino power from the battery and not the ignition, right? The atmega does not like bouncy power in the least. You might need to reflash it if it isn't happy yet.

I'm getting the power from one of the power draw spot on my underdash fuse box. We shall see if it works of if I need to move the source.

Hey all, the 8204 number is pretty much spot on...

Now I wonder about the fuel value. I used andrew's since the vx and cx have the same injectors (or so they say), but I was wondering if anyone has calibrated on a VX?

Thankee
