Nope replaced the unit and vac line 6mths ago. No engine codes anymore. Need to find the vac line to the abs, and cap it. Correction, abs is electrical, according to my chiltons.

I have driven 140 mi so far on this tank, gauge has just started moving off full. I plan on filling up every paycheck(every other thursday)

Do you think you have improved fuel economy much?
Where was it usually sitting after 140 miles?

Before removing the rack pure highway I would be doing good to get 200 mi perthe first 1/4 tank, 125 for ea 1/4 after, typically 125 mi before the gauge moved That used to be 14 mpg or so. I droped 10 mph on my commute, doing 60 indicated, and in the morning only hit 1 light out of 5 . I also shut off the engine at long red lights.
I am anxious to see what mpgs I am getting.

Sounds like its doing a lot better.
Try pulling the belt driven fan at some point.

Converting to electric fans was one of my best mods. I picked up about 2mpg highway from that one alone.

A mirror reduction gave bigdave 0.66mpg on his truck several years ago.
I hadn't even thought of reducing the size of or removing the mirrors on my truck because since the new engine went in roughly 5000 out of the 6,000 miles put on it have been with the trailer behind it.
