Ask your wife to clean out her purse that should you to the 70 MPG, If hers is anything like my wife's.
That would get the same reaction from her as the one I give her when she asks me to clean out the shed, lol!

She does have a giant purse that weighs in at around ten pounds! We tote that beast, along with her laptop in its leather case, and a big old gym bag full of I don't know what, daily. Good thing she's really small!

Another Milestone: First 70 MPG tank in the Turtle!

Well, I carpooled with my lovely wife almost every day again on this tank, which immediately saved the gas she normally uses, and we managed to get into the 70's in mpg anyway! My Fuelly account looks awesome, with three best tanks in a row!

I ordered a couple of items off Ebay the other day (below) to hopefully improve even more on gas mileage and driveability going forward.

I also ordered some used 14" moon discs that I got for cheap (about a third of the cost of new ones), and I'll refurb them before installing them next weekend.

Shoot man, message me the next time you come through Lakeland and I'll let you drive it around for a while! By then I'll have all the new stuff installed, it should be looking and driving pretty sweet in a couple of weeks

***WARNING*** WARNING***WARNING***WARNING***WARNING***

It'll cost you like 3,000 bucks for the test drive, cause once you drive it, you won't be able to sleep until you get one for yourself! This thing is addictive!

Insight owners, am I wrong???

Be careful I not that far from you. You really temped me with that one in Coral Springs. Even had the wife's approval, but one of life's challenges happened.

Haaaaa! I hear that! Any time you want to test drive it, let me know

I had lots of fun in the Black Widow for a couple of years, and that quirky little box was awesome, but I have to say I absolutely love this car!

It's like they designed the Insight with nothing but ecomodding in mind! I'm learning to drive all over again, with a completely new set of rules and challenges than I've ever had in a car before, so it's like a game the whole time I'm driving.
And with the max 2-person capacity, it's perfect for me and my wife to carpool in without a bunch of extra seats (like her Explorer) and unnecessary weight to drag around.

It's not too late, nemo. They're still out there any time you jump back in the market!

Lmao. I might have to take that risk! The insight is an awesome car. Huge potential even without the battery pack. I need to get one asap. Just need a test drive before I am 100% sure. Lol I'm headed to nc and wv this month but should be in Florida twice next month.

Yeah, it's from Armrest King. So far I love it, just not sure how long it will last.

I love my wife!

She walked in my office just now and saw me reading through the paperwork for the brake regen switch I bought for the Turtle, and it was like this:

"Hey, did you get a new toy?" as she spied the switch in the plastic bag.
"Yeah, I actually bought three new toys for my car from Ebay"
"So is it fun?"
"Oh yeah, see, this one is the brake regen switch and it . . . ."
"Wait, is this stuff for hypermiling?"
"Well, yeah! See, the brake regen . . . ."
"Does it have any LEDs?"
"Well, no . . . I could add some I guess"

but she was already half way down the hall
