my wagon build

I am soon gonna start modding my DD(a ford escort wagon) shortly, maybe even starting this weekend. Now, i am very much inot the car culture, the prefrormance and show area, so what i plan on doing is modding it to be more aero freindly, and to give it some style at the same time. Doesnt seem hard, but it is when you consider:

-car is shapped like a brick
-eco mods have know to be function vs form
-its still a freak'n wagon

heres what im starting this, only thing different from this picture s that i sprayed the hubcaps white

my first plans are to take of the roof rack/rails, and find some mazada protege mirros(same underpinnings) since the mazdas are much more aerodynamic then the ford's squares.

as for the rest of the car, i;m not so sure what to do, , its not very aerodynamic to begin with. what i have thought of so far was maybe lowering the car and addint a tipe of chin spoiler on the bottom lip. luckly i know how to do boddy work, so eventually i may get more creative wiht my work. Anyone else have any ideas please let me know. its right now driven around town with the occasional highway, but soon it will be driving a lot more on the highway, for im moving to a new house, and commuting farther.

I am gonna eco mod with some style

Verrry nizze. It seems like it has the Taurus wagon design heritage on the rear hatch, so the lines are clean. It also has the late 80's/early 90's lower grill style, so that's a plus right out of the chute.

I looked for a silhouette on Tirerack.com for paintshop virtual modding, but they don't have an image for the Escort, .

Cleaning the roof and doing a nose job are definately the way to go!
Since you're good with body work, then rear wheel skirts should be easy (even I made them, so how hard can it be?). A Kammback-style roof extension will get good airflow after you remove the roof rack. Plus bellypan and low rr tires. All of these things will notieably help highway milage.

Member Gascort has modded a '93 Escort iirc, you may look around for his posts. Here are three of his mods:
