My wife lost her wedding band, but I got 41.7mpg that day!

Yea, she wasn't too happy, but I was happy. Came home and told her that I got my best MPG yet in the civic. At least I felt a little better.

Great MPG but poor wifey. My coworker lost her wedding ring on the stairway. She was walking from the 11th to the 9th floor and it was really cold, so her fingers were "winter thin". She could hear it go Ting, Ting, Ting, Ting, Ting, Ting,... down maybe ten flights of stairs. We searched for weeks with no luck. I even brought in a "tiny cam" to look in a crevice at the bottom of the stairwell.

That's when you need to "unleash the hounds" to pick up the scent... not that I'm saying your coworker stinks or anything.

That's actually a fantastic idea, but it's too late, . I wouldn't want to get her hopes up at this point.
