Need to sell my ‘86 CRX HF

Hey all. The time has come for me to part with my 1986 CRX HF. This is a true 2-owner car. I purchased it from my friend’s mom who bought it new in ‘86 and washed/waxed it every weekend for many years. It was my commuter for a few years, so it is not pristine by any measure, but it runs like a top, and I was averaging 47 mpg when I replaced it with a ‘18 Mini Cooper.

It has the usual issues; brittle plastics, turn signal and headlight stalks are cracked but functional, a bit of rust. I have some spares for it, including a carb, a transmission, a nice fender, etc.

I still need to detail it and gather up/document the spares, but I’m really just trying to gauge interest and get a sense of what a fair and realistic price might be. It is located in West Seattle, WA.

Unsure of why I can’t post a pic. I inserted my link to Photobucket (jerks) and everything.

If Photobucket did work today, it might not work tomorrow. It's like that.

Copy-pasting the URL into a new tab redirects to app.photobucket.com's main page. So the problem is to the right of /u/.

Just put it in an album on your profile page. It's the best way.

I'm sure you're going to say how many miles it has and your asking price, but can also say where was originally purchased? Which state, at least. The California HF and the 49 state HF had different transmissions.

Oops. Sorry! Currently at just under 187k miles. Purchased in Vancouver, USA. New clutch, flywheel and timing belt. Mobil 1 and Wix filters since 115k, when I bought it.

I really need to clean it up before posting current pics. It has been sitting under a tree and needs to be detailed.

From 10 or 15' that is a pretty example of a 35 year old car. Pretty nice. 187k original US miles is quite amazing for those years. When you clean it up, post up some more. Tell what story you have, maybe.
