Turtle New to Forum

Hi everyone, Bill here from Jonesboro, Arkansas. I've been ecomodding for a couple of years but since gasoline prices are now regularly over $3.00, I've decided to get real serious about fuel efficiency. I've been able to exceed 35 mpg with current mods on my 90 Honda Accord EX sedan but I believe I can tweak out another 5 mpg in the near future with some inexpensive modifications I've been reading about here in the forum and on PESWiki. I've been looking into the various hydrogen injection systems but I'm not convinced the gain in fuel economy is worth the expense of the systems. With the mods I've already done, am doing now and will do in the near future, I believe will equal the 50% mileage increase guaranteed by the manufactures of these systems. I will update my EM Garage profile for this car (2slow2serious) as modifications are done. I'm glad to be part of this group, I know I'll get plenty of ideas to consider.

35 mpg sounds really good, on my 90 accord coupe ex I could rarely reach 20 mpg. It needed help in the form of a tune up or something. Hope you reach that 40 mpg mark.

Hi, Bill. Welcome to the site. Looking forward to learning what you've done to your Accord so far.

I believe those hydrogen things have been proved wrong. anyone can guarantee anything, I could guarantee that you will win a million dollars. But anyone can lie as well.

Welcome! just trying to not get ya scammed!
