Did you see the torque ratings for the '94 model-years of both the Cummins and the Detroit? But anyway, that makes me wonder to which extent the absence of an intercooler might be more detrimental than the indirect injection when it comes to performance, as the 6.5 Turbo has around 5% less torque yet its displacement can be quoted as roughly 10% greater than the Cummins.
