Not really illegal, but very much restricted, i.e. the new wheel diameter has to be very close to the original diameter.

or is there a law that say what you can do????

It's indeed regulated.
In Belgium we get - 2 % and + 1,5 % tolerance on the diameter when a tire size isn't included in the car's papers.

It is checked at the obligatory periodical technical check-up.

That's terrible. I can't imagine having to live with such strict regulations. What is the reasoning behind that nonsense?

I just drive too much to even get close to that look.
You really cant believe how well the 02Q45 handles even after 245,000 miles.
When I take my drivrs to Dallas, the only reason I stop after 13 hrs is because I'm falling asleep. I not sore or tired from driving ar sitting.
