If you ran them at the track, you throw away any inkling of an idea that they may last for a predetermined mileage. 40k is good for an average-line tire, though. I think the Energy series tires are rated some 40k anyway.

That tire did good indeed. FWD and a racy car. That is more difficult than a sloppy ball joint on a heavy half ton truck.

suspension must be way down and stiff I could guess.
