This might be the only '72 Corolla in Porto Alegre. Took those pictures at the Expoclassic in Novo Hamburgo last Saturday, but in 2022 I have already seen it running around the neighborhood while I was taking the dog for a walk.
A guy who works at a Toyota dealership said the only thing differing from the original is the set of 13-inch rims, because 12-inch tires matching the original size are nearly impossible to get in Brazil nowadays.
Factory-fitted to run on CNG, as that Tetrafuel badge on the trunk lid implies (ethanol-free gasoline and gasohol were listed as distinct fuels). Took these pictures around June or July.
Naturally-aspirated Diesel Citroën Xsara made in Uruguay, which I spotted in Bagé in December. This car might be around 25 to 27 years-old by now. Back in the day I used to see a lot of those in some Brazilian coastal cities where Argentinians and Uruguayans enjoy taking summer vacations.
