This car makes me sad every time i see it, it's been sitting there for at least three years.
Nice find dog, what is that?
A CRX HF!
In pretty bad condition, it hasn't moved in the three years since i first found it.

This is my former coworkers car who moved. I give to you a Ford Escort......5 speed....... DIESEL!!!!!!! Check out those funky looking wheels and the body is so clean and rust free! He said he get mid 50's mpg. Practically got it free from a family member with about 120,000 miles. And i did ask about buying it from him. nope.

Hey, the first Cmax on public roads, good job dog!
At camp half moon, spotted as we drove home from a hike in the state park.
Earthday 2013. birds of a feather...sure like company.
Twinsies! Though i had mine first, and was in better condition at the time.
My coworkers Honda Civic, smaller and i think lighter than my Insight. But always full of hundreds of pounds in tools.
My first metro. I saw this on the road before, and he was haulin! Drove it right into the ground.

Altough I'm not a Ford guy, I gotta admit that I would see no point on him selling a rust-free wagon with an old-school Diesel. That's a decent car to keep for the rest of the life if well mantained.

More Tesla S pics
Previously, I posted a first set of pics of the Tesla S, partly dismantled, for one of their "Tesla Stores" ... this one in an Orange County, California mall and here are some more:
My daughter hand spinning the Model S's electric motor on display It spun very easily and kept spinning a long time):

I was surprised how simple these parts are. I expected more evidence of regenerative capabilities. But I see none. I suppose the car just spins the engine to generate power for the battery when decelerating.

And since regen is on the rear wheels only, it can be an issue in snowy/icy conditions (I've seen that comment from a couple of owners). It is driver-adjustable, though, if I'm not mistaken.

Ha! My favourite hue on that car. I call it Kermit green. Think the company calls it Kiwi.

Yeah Kermit Green is a good name for the color! It's not really neon but, it is bright compared to most other cars on the road.
