I like mine! Use it to monitor temperature (so I don't overheat with grille block), IAT, ignition timing advance.

First one I had worked once. Returned it for a replacement.

Don't get me wrong, I love everything torque app does, except the one thing most important on this forum...mpg algorithms are not very good.

1) max mpg displayed is 255mpg. You'll never get an accurate averag tank mpg reading if you do a lot of engine off coasting like I do.

2) fuel flow still displays .03 gallons per hour consumed, even when the engine is off. Sometimes I like to sit and listen to my stereo in my car with my phone on. After 10min, I look at my phone...Wtf, I lost 1mpg??

I feel your pain....

One of the disadvantages of a digital system such as the ECU, OBD interface and, our Torques software is that you are limited by sample rate, byte length, bit resolution and min/max measurable values of your sensors.

I coast with engine on, which burns a total of 9 to 11 CC's per second but unfortunately above a certain speed (80) all of the values associated with fuel consumption or flow drop to 0.

Torque will use as many sensors available to measure fuel consumption. Mine is fairly good but I don't depend on it. It is about 20 kms off by the time I get nervous about what Torque is saying what is left in the tank and what I think is when monitoring the low fuel sensor.

I typically monitor direct sensors such as temperatures for the same reason as "Miller88"
