OBD-II / Factory Specific Engine Scanners

Perhaps we can put together a small list of people who has OBD-II/Factory specific scanners. A lot of people need access to these devices, and there are quite a few of us who own them, so perhaps connecting the haves to the have nots can help some folks out.

I'll go first.

Name: Justin
Location: Southeast Florida
Scanner: VAG-COM (VW, AUDI specific + Generic OBD-II)

Dunno if this will be that useful but perhaps someone can use it.

Many people here use the ScanGauge, which is also an OBD-II reader.

I've got one of those, as well as a no-name ELM 323 unit for the older ISO protocol vehicles (see Nerd alert! Think I'm going to get laptop-based OBD2 tool -update: ordered & success!)

I used to get to play with a 7000$ snap-on scanner, but no more,

I've got to say, as far as a computer based VW specific cable goes, the VAG-COM is AMAZING! there is so much you can do with it from changing idle to making your remote open the windows!

I'd love to have a programmable ECU - unfortunately, you can't "tune" the OEM Metro clones. Coyote X replaced his XFi ECU with a Megasquirt unit for just that reason.
