I am wondering if I order it if it is possible to get the switches to the front rather than on top. The reason being that I have a way I wish to install it in the dash that requires front mount buttons. I considered getting the kit instead because of this, but I have no way to program the PROM chip if I do. I can't see spending the money on an emulator for what would likely be a one time use. I'd also rather have a blue display so I would likely order it with the screen not soldered so I could change it myself.

The buttons on top is the only option with the current arrangement. We can leave them and the lcd unsoldered though if you want to do some custom button thing, along w/the lcd, but we don't get into customizations or custom orders beyond that, it is diy for that.

Current MPGuino source
Hi,
I've been trying to my grubby little hands on an MPGuino (2 actually, but one at a time) And I am having problems finding recent information about a source either for a kit or assembled unit. I was wondering if you could steer me in the right direction. I sent a payment via paypal to opengauge.org/mpguino and haven't got an email back for a little over a week, and it's been making me nervous, could you point me the right direction to obtain a unit or two?? or have I donated to the right place, and I just need a ton more patience??
Thanks
Jonathan

Me too!
I sent a payment via paypal to opengauge.org/mpguino on 2/7/11 and followed up a couple days later with an email to amyb at opengauge dot org (as instructed) asking when I should expect delivery.
Not a word yet and it's been making me nervous, just like Jonathan6229. (especially after reading his post).
dcb, could I please get some news, even if it's bad news? The suspense is killin' me!

Ok, I got an email today, assuring me that I'm in line for one. I couldn't be happier with that news. Its great to hear something instead of nothing. So, take heart WobblyBob, yours will probably ship out sooner than mine

Same here, put my order in a couple days ago and the sooner its on, the sooner it will be calibrated and then the sooner I can adjust the nut behind the wheel.
