Exclamation

to identify the parts list, this board is the 1KAmp version controller and has a U12 part and is a 2011 year release.
Your BOM is dated 2009 and missing the U12, this is NOT the right BOM.

thanks! is there a difference in board layout between the 1k revision 1A and revision 2A? or is it just a different BOM because a part or two was updated?

the BOM for revision 2A is up on the wiki, but if it's a pretty new development i'll assume that the board i have is revision 1A. thanks for the help!

Hi Paul, Adam, and everyone else! Not much to report from here, still driving the car everyday. It's been over 2 years now with 7,000 trouble free miles. I have one little problem. I can't seem to get the RTD explorer to load. I want to change a couple of settings but each time I try I to run the RTD program I get an error code saying its not loaded due to what looks like a "Deployment" issue. Has anyone encountered this before?

I have deleted and reloaded the program a few times getting the same message every time.

When I connect to the controller to my laptop and type in "config" nothing happens and no data.

This is the only problem an aside from this I'll tell ya. I wish I had built my electric car sooner!!!!.

Mike

Mike, you don't need rtd explorer to connect to the controller. If you are running windows you can use hyper terminal, which is included in all versions up to XP, see google if you run vista or 7. Or for linux use moserial, I posted instructions for this a while back in this thread.

Greg.

Greg, thanks very much for the help. I'm running windows 7, so I'll check there. Its been a while since I had any reason to change my settings. Getting to work is getting harder what with all the road construction. The way I go to now forces me up one of the steepest roads in the area and I think making a few adjustments might help a little.

Isaac, I used to have the BOM for your control board, but I have no idea where it is now. Is it on the wiki?

i think so, there's three BOM's up that i found. a 500amp one and two 1k's. the problem is i'm not positive which version of the board i got from you. i posted a picture of it, and i believe it was greg, said he thinks it's the 1k revision 1A.
