Any ideas for a diy ac motor controller for peaks of 300-400kw?
You are looking to push 400kw through a leaf motor?

That would be ... 1000A at 400 VDC ... so I see why you are looking for Paul's AC controller.

There were a few posts looking for someone to fabricate Paul's latest controller (Stinky diaper, I believe the firmware was called). I have not heard anything further for a while.

There was someone (I don't remember if he wanted his name posted or perhaps just his alias on Ecomodder) looking to gather all of the various information and software to reproduce the various versions of Pauls DC controllers. I'm not sure if he did the AC controller. I sent him a question about it and will post if I get an answer

Thank you for the help, Piotrsko and Thingstodo.

Response Received.

Here is the link to his google drive. It was sent to me, so it may not work for others? Or it may be read-only.

I still have to go through all of my backups and make sure that he has a copy of all that I have.

Link updated

I got .. I think .. all of my backups transferred.

The files are not organized well (if anyone downloads them and gets them straightened out in order to use them .. please share!)

There are various versions of the Cougar DC controller, 1000A DC controller based on IGBT, and 1200A AC controller based on IGBT (stinky diaper)

I'm getting closer to putting my 1000A DC controller in a new project. If it gets done, I'll post what we had to do to get the source compiled and downloaded. It'll likely be on a video since it is tough to convey enough detail with pictures and text . MPLab X was giving me issues last time I tried it ... but that was 2 laptops ago on Windows XP! I'm running windows 10 now and if that does not work, I'll go to Windows 11 and try to figure it out.

No feedback so far on whether anyone else can see these files!

Thanks for trying it

OK ... I just copied from google drive, where it says that anyone with the link is read-only.

This looks way different than the other link ... please give it a try. If it works, I'll post to the other threads
