Your car sounds just like mine (other than the lens cap clattering against the camera.)
With how quiet it is, it's very easy to talk and add a little color commentary to your video - what voltage you are running at, when you are shifting, etc.
I also like your pirate costume.

Arrrrgh, ye matees! I actually have a coin earring on: an 1853 dime. Very piraty. I should have put on my black skullcap with white skull and crossbones. And that annoying rattle!!! Omg, I am so mad at that! I first noticed in on my last video- I have no idea what it is! I am guessing the kids dropped the camera (always blame the little people ). I have an actual real live video camera somewhere in storage. I wish I knew where, because that sound is going to drive me nuts. And about the lack of commentary: I have some weird stage fright. Every time I do a video, I swear it'll be a talkie this time. Hard to believe I was in a Broadway play once! Yes, our community theatre is on Broadway Street- that makes it a Broadway play! . Some day I will make a talkie video.....
I want to do a video like the Forkenswift shift one, because I shift a lot, and I think those people that are on the fence about going clutchless will be surprised at how effortless it really is.....
Edit: I found that the camera was on "constant focus" mode. I put it on "single focus". I think that might have been the annoying sound....

Talk to Bob Wilson (bwilson4web) on here. He'll be able to give you either the information you want, or leads to find it. He does alot of pretty straightforward testing on those batteries for his own purposes, as well, and has a wealth of information regarding them.
When I was considering using a pair of them for batteries on one of my bikes, he was right there with information on how to build a charge circuit that wouldn't destroy them in short order.
If we had a "rep" feature on EM, he'd get some. Just sayin'.
You'll definitely need to build a tight enclosure for them, from what I've seen/been told. They have a tendency to heat up and deform.

Here's the main thread, Brian put a lot of good info in there. Make sure your battery sides are supported when charging:

Thanks for the link. If you guys like reading about these, there's pretty good thread here:
Endless-sphere.com • View topic - Prius Batteries - How to make them work
These cells are so much like LEGOs, it's great. I wish I had them in my crib when I was a baby.
But right now I REALLY need to clean up my computer room! I have to step over electric motors, a big Shumacher battery charger, 22 Prius cells, 2 fence batteries, a bunch of dead lithium cells, just to get to my computer chair; then, I have to type AROUND a bunch more lithium batteries! Maybe I should put this truff in my carport where I know it's safe

Ok, so if I put the Prius cells, and the 18650 cells, and put them in parallel to my lead acid pack, who wants to take bets as to which one goes "boom" first?
