Supposedly, recovering them was possible, so it aggravates me that I never figured it out, but I wouldn't remember how I did it, and hopefully I never need to again.
I backed up my passwords from my old Dell, so as long as I also back up the passwords from my new Dell and Disco Inferno, I should be fine.
Ye Olde Dell is currently operating within specified parameters, so why do I have two new desktops?!
I also think that I was perseverating on the laptop instead of driving to Show Low and taking care of Mom's house.
Beating my head against the wall wasn't fun, but at least I was in the comfort of my own home, and I saw my wife and brother.
Of the many complications we have had lately, Mom had me take her to buy new test strips, and then her meter appeared to break. She used 6 new test strips and only had one result, the rest said Err.
Invalid!
Tis not human!
I kept trying to troubleshoot that, but all that I found was that bluetooth failed to pair.
The sixth time, in the middle of the night, she told me it said e11, and mentioned before it said e3 and e4.
You are just mentioning this now?!
Three different error codes with the new strips, I went and bought her a new package, and they worked.
Then, late the next night, she hadn't been able to find her meter all day, so I spent a long time looking.
It turned up in the morning.
Then late the third night, I needed to take my brother to the emergency room.
While I was waiting, I couldn't think of a more productive way to spend my time waiting than continuing to beat my head against the wall, but I couldn't do much on the phone, just find more pages saying I was doomed.
However, I figured out my work e-mail login, requested to reset my work site login, and it actually finally worked!
