I think that's a great idea because there are a lot of cars with "donut wheel" cavities just waiting to be re-purposed.

Ha ha, put the batteries on a powered lazy susan and spin them to cool them off, .

Actually stopped by the Dealership today and decide to test drive one later this evening.
Even got the MIL to look at it and she may be getting one. It would be a perfect car for her since she lives in a small golfing community and doesn't drive long trips. Grocery store and Church are her big trips. She could get a lot of mileage out of one.

Me, I want one to go into town in to visit the Grandchildren. About 20 miles to the city then 10 miles of city traffic to their houses. Then the short trips for shopping while in the big city.

My Diesel I Mark is getting tired. Kinda ready for some new car smell.

Those short city trips are what the C was made for..
It's a really fun car to drive and the mileage is great.
If you just drive it and don't try to hypermile, you will still get good MPGs.
If you aren't a lead-foot, you will always do better than the EPA numbers.

We are loving our C2.
And now that gas prices are shooting back up, we really like going to the gas station, once a month!

I just bought a Prius C II a month ago. Do you have photos of your mods?
I need to do more research on all this...
