Plain and Simple I'm a complete Noob!

So I'm a complete noob and until recently didn't care much about MPG and being that FE. But some extra cash never hurt anyone and a little better eco system didn't either so it's win, win for everyone involved.

I drive a 2004 GTO not the most eco friendly car but I didn't really buy it for that purpose I bought it for it's comfort and it's ability to do 0-60 lol. I enjoy racing at the local drag strip here.

Well I have browsed the site pretty briefly and there's tons of lingo and stuff on here and I was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of a beginners guide to learning how to do this.

Pics of my car.

Welcome To EM!!! There's a beginners guide somewhere in a sticky, I don't have one on hand.. But I can go and pull it up for ya. Anyone can get better FE, Even if they use their vehicle for recreation. But yea, just have a good look around. There's a lot to be had here. Nice ride btw Black is the way to go!

Welcome to EM...

We're being overrun with Goats! We need a shepherd...

I think there's at least 3 or 4 now. Have a competition to see which GTO take the best Fuel Economy.

Enjoy the site, and best FE to ya

RH77

Sweet looking car, by the way

Nice wheels, RR. The only thing that would look better is to add a Scanguage, and ME behind the wheel!

Well, at least get a Scanguage.

Welcome. Check your PM. I really like the looks of that ride. However, I've been getting the jump on Goats since the late 60's. Wanna Race 1320' for pinks?

Nice Dodge! Classic Mopar wheel stand -- love it

Get the Pinks TV show on the horn.

No sandbagging

Yeah my current goal is to try for 18 MPG in the hopes of someday reaching 20 MPG. It's very hard to be gentle with a throttle that begs to be wide open.

Speaking of PINKS they show is coming to the Gainesville Raceway, will you be competing?
