Aerohead refuses to read anything he knows he wont agree with, so expect this post to be ignored.

Naw, aerohead at least looks at some of the things I post that might disagree with his assumptions. Not accepting something is different than dismissing something outright. I think he arrived at his conclusions honestly.

I am almost entirely unaware of the debates that apparently rage in the lounge, but I do know that I have huge respect for aerohead and all you all people on this thread here. Ecomodder is a great little forum. Lots of knowledge, skill, and critical thinking here (and the generosity to share it freely).

Please cut out the political chatter in the forum. It's not what EcoModder is here for.
I was wondering why there are no new posts.

.

It’s hard to disassociate politics from many of the subjects we discuss here in the forum.

Examples.

Climate change.
SARS Cov-2 (Wu-flu)
Price, abundance and or scarcity of oil
Government CAFE standards
Electric vehicles (subsidies)
Pollution and or other environmental concerns
Road and vehicle taxes, other associated fees and tolls
Alternative Energy
Etc etc etc.

Unfortunately,

Government and Politics are a large portion of those discussions.

It sort of is, what it is.

That being said...

This is a car forum first and foremost. I will therefore include car related material to this post so that it won’t be construed as being purely political in nature...

Isn't it even a little suspicious that a group discovered a problem where the solution just happens to for fill every political agenda they have been working towards for the last 50 or 60 years?
Man what are the odds of that?

Happy turtle.

I don't know if anyone got the point of Permalink #15. An apolitical view of 1939, just before a massive inflection point. Just look at the size of that roll-back sunroof.

It's a window into a world that was about to be blown away by the conniving British and Soviets.

Even though I may find some points of view (and people) I disagree with, this is still one of the friendliest forums I'm aware of.
