Popular Science: How 2.0 MPG Boosting Mods
I just looked in the new popular science and it had a few short articles on aerodynamic mods. I was disappointed there was no AeroCivic though.
Also ecomodder.com was thanked for helping with the article.
The first was on "The Aerocycle" AKA this.
The second was how somone added a wedge-shaped aero nose to their 1989 Honda CRX HF boosting their MPG from 40 to 60.
The third was a kammback/mini boat tail on a Toyota Previa which increased the MPG from 20 to 36.
The fourth was Phil Knox's "wonder trailer" which has no negative effect on his MPG when towing it.

I'm disappointed that there's a thread on 3 mods and it contains not so much as a hint as to what they are.

I was so excited about the article I forgot to post the mods. I'll edit my first post with actual information.

It's PopSci, not SciAm, or the journal Science. Iirc, they have a "cool new gadgets" section every issue which amounts to a few pages of small ads, disguised as editorial content.
Angmaar, if you post the title of the article, maybe we can track it down on the InterBlag.

Pop Sci
Gregory Mone told me that the Pop-Sci article was only going to be a small piece,so maybe we can take some comfort in that they did anything at all.
I liked that they credited EcoModder.com.I also liked that the 'rear' of the vehicles were mentioned within the context of mpg.
Also,by doing the piece under the context of DIY,it may empower others to try some stuff out.
And unrelated to EcoModder, but nonetheless cool, was Royal Dutch Shell's piece on the Shell Mileage Marathon,8,700 + mpg 3-wheeler,which has a good photo and anyone can see the rear, which to the un-initiated,should get some head-scratching going,aerodynamics-wise.
I also hope that the AEROCIVIC will show up in a future issue. There is just no way that Gregory doesn't know about it!
With 35-mpg CAFE standards looming ahead,it would be a propitious moment to mention that car.

The article is here: You Built What?! The 200-MPG Aerocycle | Popular Science
And the Previa that went from 20 to 36 mpg (HWY) is mine...
