post your cars crash test

I was curious as to my cars crash tests results,so did a you tube search and found my car performed surprisingly well on the 40mph head on crash test.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&fe...&v=CIO9P9Wiffc

But did horrible on the side impact test.

I find it hard to imagine a car (not a higher truck) that does well on the side impact test.
If you can find your car/ trucks crash test post a link so we can see how good or bad of a job the engineered crumple zones are performing.
Who knows Volvo may of been dethroned by Kia

Results Renault Laguna | Euro NCAP

The safety rating of this car (and the 60mpg at 60mph with the 1.5dci engine) was the reason we bought it.
But I`d still rather not be involved in an accident and like to stay alert when I`m driving.

Hello -

Here are a few :

Note: I *think* you have to be careful when comparing the number of "stars" because the crash standard is evolving/tightening over time. A 1990 5-star would (probably) get a lower rating in 2010.

The side impact test seem particularly brutal, its the side impact curtains / airbags that are providing *some degree*
of protection. Being strapped in the seat belt seems like it would add to the trauma, who knows, I thought a old pick up or a old car would demolish a newer vehicle but as it turns out its the opposite.

A 2001 ford f150 frontal crash test
Shocking damage but they ride so high the pick up's drivers always seem to be the survivors in head on collisions.
