Construction Begins
First Piece installed:
http://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/.../boattail1.jpg Second Piece installed: http://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/.../boattail2.jpg Top and Side Pieces installed: http://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/.../boattail3.jpg Ignore the angle of the top pieces because those are simply being bent by gravity right now and are not in their final resting place. |
Glad to see another tail coming to life :)
Are you direct bolting to the car? |
Yeah, Holes drilled right through the hatch. I'm not too concerned about rust because the car already has so much of it
The stuff you see on the hatch surrounding the metal is masking tape to protect the paint during drilling. |
I've wanted to see a tail on one of these since that bodystyle first came out .
Hope it all works out for you . |
I hope you can make it to the tail meet :)
4 tails in a row :) |
Go, Man, GO:thumbup:. Looking forward to watching this build!:D
|
What do you plan on covering it with?
|
Fun, fun! Subscribed.
