So sick of car shopping.

I was going to look at a '99 Saab 9-3 Turbo today with mods and extra parts, and turns out it's an auto.

Called on a BMW E36/5 and the guy randomly hung up on me then wouldn't answer.

No Miatas in my price range have popped up since last weekend.

Re BMW guy: he knew you weren't a serious buyer when you asked him what kind of mileage he was getting.

Ugh, I don't know what his problem was. If I buy something not FWD, FE goes out the window

Does this have a small enough frontal area?

Set up an appt to look at an EG hatch. Gonna try a '91 Legacy Wagon AWD if that doesnt work out

its a small enough area for me but the wear on the tires would be atrocious

Four local car people showed up at work today (two couples) and asked me about the Probe. I told them the fuel economy figures and one couple kind of joked about doing it to their ZJ Grand Cherokee. We'll see if the idea sticks.

Nope. Once I have a new daily the Probe will go back to stock (aero-wise) and I will re-list it on CL for more money. I think the aliens are scaring people away-- oh wait. I hear they like to be called "celestial beings". Gotta be PC!
