Found some clear pix of skirt attachment in the "HHR Parts" section;
some DIY looking, old-school bent metal brackets:
HHR PARTS
PT skirts probably the same. Was hoping for something a little
more sophisticated.
That said, whatever works, works.

Hello -
My co-worker friend has a PT Cruiser, so I did some rear wheel-well analysis :
The side view is from tirerack.com. This avoids spacial distortion and makes sure that everything is horizontal. I measured the top of the PT Cruiser's wheel well (28"), and scaled the tirerack image up so that every 10 pixels = 1 inch.
Here is what you can put on the PT Cruiser :
ABS REAR SKIRTS
If your rear wheel-well matches the curve of the PT cruiser, you may be able to retro-fit it onto your car. Obviously, the complex curves might make it non-feasible, but at least there is a *chance* it will work.
PS - It ain't cheap, $400 a pair, (1 eek for each Benjamin)

Wow... 4 eeks?
I think I'll stick with sheet plastic and a heat gun.

Im sure if you made the framework,
you could pay some bodyshop guy $100 to glass 2 skirts
then you paint it yourself

You could make the framework from brake line, actually. It's thin steel, so it's easy to weld, and it's very easy to bend into a shape, as well.

I know it's not worth the coin, but I am interested in the adaption as a mental exercise. I grafted the PT Cruiser wheel well onto mine in "TDC" position :
And then with the forward part of the wheel-well curve all lined-up :
Probably doable, but still better to make your own.
Just for fun, you see.

Carlos -
I see what you've done there.
The best idea is probably to line it up with the front lined up properly, since it appears to have more than 30% conformity that way. The rest could just be trimmed to fit away from the cover as much as would actually be necessary. I feel like the thing would fit rather cleanly, though, even on a different make.

to me, that seems like more work
maybe its because you might struggle with fitment issues
