In the garage, its gonna be a long evening. Do you think I just stop working and get government grants to do aero research?

Wow, so much for any bit of hydration I gained back today. Soaked two shirts today. :-( I've been drinking water like a camel. At this rate I'll sweat off five pounds. Does that count as ecomodding???

Pictures are being uploaded. I fear I am going to be doing some sanding. My shrouds just were level enough to get a fully smooth surface. There are some major divots that I'll need to raise/lower to get a decent look.

Someone asked about fiberglassing before, I got you a short little video of the foil coming off the back of my wheel skirts.

I second that... I've been puzzling over how to do a rear skirt in fiberglass too, and the timing of this thread is nearly perfect!!

The Surprise was suppose to be air vents molded into rear segment of the skirt. I had it mocked up in cardboard be decided against it. :-( I'm not sure how others manage, but I am still mildly concerned about heat build up with the brakes. Original shape was partial, cresent moon. But after seeing how it looked, and how much more complex it was going to make these, I abandoned the idea.

On the rear wheels ?
When hypermiling, I don't expect you to brake very hard, nor very often.

Do you do a lot of downhill driving where engine braking isn't sufficient ?
