Bummer, just chill, take a break for a few days then come back to it.

If its not flushing up right can you just tape off the body, attach the skirt, use some bondo to feather the skirt into the body, then take it off and trim it up?

How to tag bolt points in a blind spot
Allow for 1/4" of bolt to stick forward

install foam in secure manner

Jam bolt into foam, drill pilot hole

Working on baby front wheel dams

And the mess that is currently wheel skirts:

Cut and place and re-fiberglass

Try to flex now Mother F&c@k#R!

Other side was not as bad, but bad enough that I was just irrated and cut it. They'll sit flush now.

Wow you're hard at it.

I completely understand the motivation-sapping nature of finish sanding hardened fiberglass resin.

My partial Kammback project sapped many, many hours for finish work. Then my paint job sucked. To add insult, now several years on, the finish has bubbled, cracked and flaked off in several spots for a variety of reasons (from poor surface prep, to water wicking / mild delamination).

I really envy guys who have the skill and time to make a pro job, but as long as it works... halfassery is my new approach (in the looks department)!

OMG you just made my day better. lol The word of today, and most likely tomorrow is "halfassery".

PS - Acheived 27.25 mpg driving like an ass, getting suck in traffic for 10 minutes, and driving at ludicrous speed for several miles. And we've had two days above 80 degrees. hahaha Not bad for 55-60 degree mornings.

*sigh* no progress today lads. Come home from work, had dinner, took a nap, got some shopping done, come home, made a coffee latte and going to bed.

Got the Transmission Mount today. :-)

Got another surprise coming at the end of the week.

But now its time for bed. Hoping to put the stick back on the ice tomorrow.

Work in the garage a bit tonight. Been "hell's cup poured over" at work. I have off Friday, So one more day. I should make some progress tomorrow. I'm hoping to get the front air deflectors for the tires primed. They are just about ready to go on the car. But I need warm, not dampened air to paint.

Yeah well UPS apparently can't move a box a few states in under 7 days. Items were shipped "Monday" ETA is Tuesday September 21st...8 days later.

Leaving soon for some dinner, Pictures will probably show up tomorrow :-) At least one project might be finished this weekend.
