I watched this whole thing from Munro Live to find out where the third row seating is hiding and they mention it but don't show how it works.

OTOH, it has a doghouse frunk, like the Bollinger. They don't see the appeal to dog [or maybe cat?} owners.

RAM

I suspect that Ford and GM product committees experienced a #10 pucker when they first glimpsed the Revolution.
A master stroke for Stellantis to be late to the party.
They've knocked it out of the park!

I've been seeing Stellantis mentioned many places recently, which is odd because I've never heard of them until very recently.

It's also impressive how Stellantis is being more efficient at managing the overlap between so many brands on most markets.

I think they're all going to sell as many electric trucks as they can produce so it doesn't matter too much. Supply limited, in other words.

When it comes to Ford, as it has the successful experience of the F-150 which has been the best-selling vehicle in the USDM, there is not much motivation to depart too radically from its traditional design, while GM already seemed to try departing from the regular Silverado. Well, maybe the previous experience with hybrid Silverados back in a day when hybrid trucks weren't taken so seriously, might've influenced GM to take a different path than Ford. Stellantis has OTOH some developments in the EV field which might also have benefitted the Ram 1500 Revolution, even though electric versions of its European are not different in appearance from their ICE-powered counterparts.

Well I put a $100 reservation on a Rev. Figure the Lightning I put a reservation on has price crept from $41k to now $58k with zero improvements since I put the $100 down on that. I will wait and see what the Rev ends up with and at least I got in on the 2nd day of opening reservations.

I like the simplification from the concept. Simple means affordable more often than not. Plus it's not like the regular Ram is bad looking.

Edit: Also the super bowl ad was the best of the year. Marketing over at Chrysler or whatever it has been renamed over the years, is always the best. Remember "Made in Detroit" super bowl ad? That was for a crappy Chrysler 200 pre redesign, but was maybe the best supebowl ad of all time.

3rd-row seating

In an inside view of the cabin, it looked like a track system on the floor could accept any number of seating configurations. 'Plug-and-play.' sorta.
