That last photo is actually quite ingenious.

The guy must be very fedup with careless drivers dinging up his doors, scratching his bumpers and smashing his mirrors.

This would fit in the VW thread, I'll add it there.

Those wheels aren't really exposed being capped with cycle fenders. Not as good as pantloons, but it's the exposed suspension that's exposed.

edit:
That's a nice truncation. It looks like the floorpan halves have been eliminated. It occurs to me that it could be a gas/electric hybrid with an electric motor fitted to the propeller.

It's gotta be unnerving being a product designer and tester, never knowing for sure under what circumstances the product will be used under.
