Rear Diffuser 48"x60" (2002 Nissan Maxima)

2002 Nissan Maxima Rear Diffuser
approx 48"wide by 60" long

Not sure on any huge mpg gains. I did achieve the highest mpg (28.18 on an auto V6 3.5 L) since I started recording mpg. I want to clean up the rear spoiler vents better. I was thinking that light gray pipe foam insulation other people use for grille blocking. And the biggest pain in it all after the fact is the need to prep it for snow build up, hence I might just take it off for winter.

I don't think cardboard is going to hold up very long in wet weather.
Plus you've got a combustible material right near the exhaust pipe...
It's a good starting point for a template though.

nice job, the rear of my intrepid is very similar with a huge area behind the gas tank to catch all the air from under the car. would like to do something similar.

i wouldn't know where to start with test data....

Now I am up against the snow weather coming soon. I either have to take it off completely or add to it so snow/debris does not collect near the wheels.

Take a look at mine (see link in sig.)
I curved it back(around the angle piece, up all the way to the underbody ABOVE the rear axle. THen detailed around the rear of the wheel well to seal it.
