I'm working now on temp management system for my Berta and it will be Arduino based as well.
I've noticed that your Clio has LPG installed. There's possibility to set up dual fuel in MPGuino, it requires code changes though. But it's possible for LPG electric injectors only.

My mpguino is far from ready it's been four days since i've got the arduino and i am now learning how to use it and program it but i have a great idea about the next project after i finish with mpguino.
I will built a overhead console and that will contain an arduino (consoluino :P) and a 20X4 LCD that will show inside and outside temperature, battery voltage ,coolant temperature and i want it to turn the a/c compressor on and off at a set temperature (hot greek summers
) also i want to built a lower grill cover that will open and close with a big servo that will be controlled from the consoluino depending on the coolant temperature
. The console will also contain switches for car pc interior lighting and an alternator on/off switch.
Regarding your project note that if you draw temperature reading from the coolant sensor both your arduino and the ecu will measure the temperature wrong cause of the increased resistance, i had the same situation when i'd connected the LPG ECU to the engine's sensor and both measure the temperature wrong about 15 degrees celsius which is a lot. Ecu on some cars including mine control ventilation fan depending on the temperature that ecu read. You can solve this by connecting a pontetiometer parallel to the wires to decrease resistance that your beautiful berta measure. Can't wait to see it up n' ready please hurry !
My clio's lpg injectors are electronic (lovato smart) and i'am sure that they work just like gasoline ones but it conserns me the fact that the pressure is not stable on idle is 1.27 bar and on full throttle it climbs that maybe will make my mpguino less accurate.
Mpguino for both fuels ? hmm... I rarelly run on gasoline (cost 1.7 euros per liter
) except on cold startups and some times that i run out of LPG so it wont be very usefull but i want to make my mpguino to deactivate when i run on gasoline so that it won't log it as free miles...
