I had a hunch Freebird would seize the opportunity when I started talking about probing terminals.

My public education won't allow me to leave proper nouns uncapitalized.

It is especially frustrating when you want to start a sentence with his name.

Freebeard will not divide us!

Apparently, e e cummings wasn't dogmatic about it, sometimes using punctuation as well as capitals.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E._E._...capitalization
Quote:
Cummings's publishers and others have often echoed the unconventional orthography in his poetry by writing his name in lowercase and without periods (full stops), but normal orthography (uppercase and periods) is supported by scholarship and preferred by publishers today.[37] Cummings himself used both the lowercase and capitalized versions, though he most often signed his name with capitals.[37]
[snip]
One Cummings scholar believes that on the rare occasions Cummings signed his name in all lowercase, he may have intended it as a gesture of humility, not as an indication that it was the preferred orthography for others to use.[37]
Henceforth I will even answer to FreeBeard. But I promised Arragonis only he can call me freeb, so don't do that, Okay?

If we start calling you that, will it summon Arragonis?

I am not sure how writing your name in lowercase would work to show humility.

It seems to be drawing attention and\or ire.

...from you, apparently.

On topic, I was looking for something else and I ran across a new-in-the-box Harbor Freight Digital Multimeter (their Centech P-35761). When I opened the box and looked at the 9v battery it was a solid mass of rust that had expanded and distorted the plastic case. Throw that one on the pile.
